As a Software Development Engineer on the WW Stores FinTech team, you will design and build core components of MetricsEngine, a platform for financial metric computation. This role involves collaborating with senior engineers and partner teams to solve complex technical challenges in a high-data-volume environment. You will contribute to architectural decisions and write high-quality code that sets the standard for the team. The team aims to deliver innovative technical solutions that empower Amazon Stores' financial processes and systems.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

• Design and build core components of MetricsEngine end-to-end.
• Build the integration layer between MetricsEngine and AI agent frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable data infrastructure components.
• Contribute to technical direction and team standards.
• Raise the bar for the team through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Partner with Software Engineers, Software Managers, Product Managers, Data Engineers, and cross-functional teams.
