As an Infrastructure Reliability Engineer at AWS, you will focus on driving reliability risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to enhance datacenter availability and performance. This role involves conducting root cause analysis of equipment failures and implementing continuous improvements. You will also engage with internal and external partners to ensure product specifications and risk management are effectively executed.

• 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience
• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
• Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Mechanical, Reliability or related Engineering discipline

• Drive reliability risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for datacenter infrastructure equipment

• Evaluate product design quality and reliability risks, as well as manufacturing process-related issues

• Conduct effective vendor auditing and quarterly review processes to improve datacenter availability
