Job description
The Staff Software Engineer for the API Platform at Stripe will lead a team focused on building reliable and performant services that support payment systems and other products. Requirements
- 12+ years of technical experience
- 5+ years in a strategic technical leadership role
- Experience leading engineering teams working on API design or frameworks
- Hands-on experience building infrastructure and products for customers
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Ruby, Python, or Go
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship and support for their success
- Partner with Engineering Managers to create roadmaps for engineering milestones
- Understand user needs to prioritize engineering work and deliver high-quality solutions
