The Hydraulic Modeling/Conveyance Engineer role at Jacobs focuses on water and wastewater system planning, modeling, and design development. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or other applicable Engineering disciplines.
- Relevant coursework, previous intern experience, and/or project work experience in water/wastewater system and infrastructure related disciplines.
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 and technical writing, editing, and presentations.
- Ability to work well in a group or team atmosphere.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized hydraulic modeling and capital planning assignments for conveyance and management systems.
- Engage with new technologies and large, complex projects related to reliable water supply and natural resource protection.
- Coordinate with other project disciplines, task leads, and project managers.
- Support multiple concurrent projects through all phases of planning, execution, and closeout.
- Collect and analyze data, and provide documentation and support during design and construction.
