Arcadis is seeking an entry-level Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join their Resilience Environment team in Richmond, VA. This position involves both field and office work, with up to 80% of time spent in the field. • Bachelor's of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a closely related field.
• Master of Science degree in Geology or a closely related field is preferred.
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Assist Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization and remediation tasks.
• Conduct fieldwork including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling.
• Prepare subcontracts and oversee the work of subcontractors.
• Write and prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory file reviews.
• Manage task coordination, data compilation, and project strategy development.
