Arcadis is seeking a Traffic Signal Timing Professional to join the ITS Team in Greater Miami, Florida. This role involves assisting the traffic and ITS group in conducting studies and preparing design plans for various projects. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced project managers and engineers, enhancing technical skills in the transportation industry. The team focuses on creating sustainable and connected solutions for mobility challenges.

• BS degree in mechanical, civil, transportation engineering, or electrical engineering.
• 3-5 years of applicable experience in traffic engineering or related fields.
• Familiarity with traffic engineering software such as Synchro, VISSIM, and AutoCAD.

• Design and develop plans and specifications for traffic signal timing.
• Conduct safety and operational analysis for intersections and corridors.
• Assist with field maintenance and collaborate with engineers and contractors.
• Research engineering standards, traffic operations, and smart infrastructure technologies.
• Prepare signal timing reports and review signalization plans.
