Job description
As a Senior CEI Project Engineer at Jacobs, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team focused on quality control in construction projects. This role involves overseeing inspectors and engineers in various functional areas, including construction inspection and surveying. You will be responsible for creating quality control programs and mentoring team members. Your expertise will help ensure compliance and resolve technical issues related to quality in construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
- PE license in the state of Florida.
- Six years of major road or bridge construction experience.
- Completion of the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and passing the examination.
- FDOT Advanced MOT certification.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team of QA/QC members to create and implement quality control programs.
- Train and mentor staff while assigning daily tasks to team members.
- Review and resolve technical problems related to quality control.
- Ensure compliance on inspections and activities of all quality-related work.
- Provide work direction to others and make significant decisions regarding construction engineering administration.
