- Drive internal and external PFMEA and DFMEA reviews referencing model geometry and drawing specifications.
- Solve technical problems across a broad set of manufacturing commodities.
- Guide manufacturing readiness assessments for NPI programs through production ramp.
- Evaluate and approve Engineering Change Orders across mechanical and electrical commodities.
- Evaluate production, supplier, and field failures for root cause analysis and resolution.
- Mentor team members and design engineers on producibility best practices and drafting standards.
- Propose design changes that enhance product sustainability and scalability.
- Shepherd Statistical Process Control implementation at suppliers and conduct Gauge R&R studies.
Benefits
- Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric).
