The role involves leading the design and development of server products within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hardware Engineering team. • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• 5+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals including networking, storage, and operating systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
• Experience in developing functional specifications and test procedures
• Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent is preferred

• Lead the design and development of server products utilizing various design and manufacturing partners.

• Oversee the fleet of servers post-launch, monitoring quality and customer requirements.
• Drive high quality and reliability into future designs for AWS server solutions.
