Job description
The Product Marketing Customer Analytics team at Apple is looking for a UI engineer to enhance customer analytics through advanced architecture and data products. This role involves working on the front end of products in a fast-paced environment, focusing on user experience and innovative feature launches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development and design, capable of building full-stack web applications and data analysis pipelines. Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant UI/UX experience
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Mathematics or other quantitative discipline required
- 3+ years of JavaScript experience, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
- 3+ years of programming experience using JavaScript frameworks like React, Redux, NodeJs, HTML, CSS, REST, Web Services
- 3+ years of experience with Java and Python
- 3+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model
- 3+ years of experience in designing, prototyping, and implementing user interfaces (UIs)
- Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, version control (Git), virtualization techniques (Kubernetes, Docker), and exposure to cloud methodologies (AWS preferred)
- Understanding of working with various databases including Snowflake, Druid, Postgres and Redis
- Proven experience developing RESTful service layer components using Java OR Python OR GraphQL
Responsibilities
- Support customer analytics with advanced, scalable architecture and data products
- Develop rich user interfaces using HTML5 and CSS3
- Design, develop, and manage highly optimized and flexible analytical tools for data analytics
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, project managers, and back-end engineers to implement front-end solutions
- Explore product concepts to address both human and business needs
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems for complex web applications
- Deliver innovative prototypes using the latest front-end technologies
- Maintain strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms
- Adapt to ambiguous requirements in a fast-changing environment with tight deadlines
