The role involves working as a Technical Program Manager at Apple, focusing on developing and delivering core technologies that enhance customer experiences. Requirements
- 7+ years of technical experience in a high-tech industry with a solid understanding of manufacturing and quality engineering.
- BS/MS in a related Engineering discipline.
- Strong knowledge in material science, failure analysis, and statistical analysis tools.
- Experience in clean room manufacturing and particle control.
- Meaningful experience in introducing products into manufacturing and high volume production with Asia-based suppliers.
- Desire and ability for problem solving and debugging.
- Excellent project management skills and experience in program/project management.
Responsibilities
- Engage with supplier engineers and multi-functional teams to develop core technologies.
- Act as a link between Apple Design and supplier manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all technical risks associated with a product are identified and mitigated.
- Work with the New Production Introduction group to drive product quality.
- Combine knowledge of optics, electronics, and manufacturing processes to deliver results.
