·FY 2025Job description
NVIDIA is seeking an engineer to lead the rebuild of its toolchain around AI within the Silicon Co-Design Group. This team focuses on optimizing silicon productization processes, ensuring that every CPU, GPU, and Tegra SoC meets high performance and efficiency standards. The role involves integrating AI into simulation and configuration engines that support firmware and manufacturing systems. The engineer will also mentor team members and help set the AI direction for the group.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in silicon bringup, firmware, or productization engineering.
- Experience deploying multiple production Python services and data pipelines, including at least one LLM-backed system.
- Ability to read silicon characterization outputs and understand tradeoffs between speed, power, voltage noise, and binning.
- Familiarity with new AI tooling and the ability to evaluate it quickly.
Responsibilities
- Help simulate power controller interplay, voltage-frequency operating points, and binning yields.
- Build systems that enhance performance and power efficiency.
- Break down silicon product optimization workflows into composable skills and orchestration layers.
- Integrate silicon productization tools into a custom agent harness with defined tool registries and checkpoints.
- Lead eval-driven development for applied AI in production and conduct error analysis on real silicon workflows.
- Mentor and grow the engineering team while setting the AI direction.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
