·FY 2025Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a hardware engineer to join its Silicon Co-Design Group, which plays a crucial role in the development of next-generation silicon. The team focuses on bridging architecture, design, firmware, and silicon to ensure product readiness. The engineer will be responsible for building test infrastructure and workflows that enhance validation and debugging processes. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in silicon bring-up, validation, debug, or productization.
- Deep understanding of digital development, microarchitecture, timing, clocking, power, noise, and control systems.
- Hands-on lab proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and C/C++.
Responsibilities
- Own bring-up, validation, qualification, tuning, and productization plans for next-generation silicon.
- Partner with architecture, build, firmware, and software teams to define power management and clocking requirements.
- Build and deploy AI-assisted lab workflows for telemetry and silicon measurement data evaluation.
- Lead root-cause analysis on complex HW/SW interaction issues under schedule pressure.
- Identify and redesign current processes to improve bring-up sequencing and regression frameworks.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
