• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience architecting, developing and maintaining scalable distributed systems
• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and team mentorship
• Experience developing and launching web services with Java and/or Kotlin, with Spring Boot experience being a plus
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3 and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal or similar
• Track record of designing, building, and documenting client-facing and server-facing APIs using REST and/or gRPC
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog
• Experience with the full lifecycle of software development, including design, architecture, development, testing, and maintenance
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of security fundamentals such as certificates, PKI, signing, and encryption, with experience implementing features with them being a plus
