Apple's wireless silicon development team is seeking a skilled candidate for its modeling and verification team. This role focuses on modeling and verifying Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal blocks and SoCs using SystemVerilog. The candidate will work in a collaborative environment to develop behavioral models and ensure the success of the team's projects. The position is based at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California, where innovation and creativity are highly valued.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Ph.D. or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in modeling of analog/RF circuits
- Hands-on experience in Mixed-Signal Verification and Real Numbered Modeling of Mixed-Signal Systems
- Knowledge of wireless technologies such as WiFi, BT, UWB, or general radio systems
- Good understanding of basic analog circuits including PLLs, LDOs, Bandgap, ADC/DAC
- Experience in modeling with SystemC and/or C/C++
- Experience in writing scripts in languages such as Perl or Python
- Knowledge of signal processing using Python or Matlab
- Good understanding of AMS and wireless circuits/systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Model and verify Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal blocks and SoCs using SystemVerilog
- Create behavioral models, testbenches, checkers, and tests
- Build and execute test plans to meet project schedules and quality requirements
- Collaborate with multiple pre-silicon validation teams to ensure functionality of first silicon
- Integrate mixed-signal models onto emulation platforms
