This position focuses on developing and maintaining technical infrastructure to support quantitative research and investment processes related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) models. The role involves implementing model validation frameworks, building data pipelines, and delivering analytics tools. The candidate will work with various data sources and apply statistical techniques to ensure model accuracy. Additionally, the position supports quantitative research initiatives through tooling and automation enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Economics, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Financial Technology, or a closely related field, or a Master’s degree in a similar field.
- Three years of experience in data engineering and quantitative model deployment, or one year with a Master's degree.
- Experience with Python, Snowflake, Oracle, GitHub, and FactSet in a financial services context.
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative ESG model validation and data integration.
Responsibilities
- Validate complex quantitative ESG models for fixed income and equity portfolios.
- Perform sustainable investing research including model construction and factor calculations.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards for ESG model performance and portfolio analytics.
- Process and integrate raw vendor feeds and API outputs for ESG ratings and market data.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for data analysis and visualization in support of quantitative research projects.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly production reporting cycles across analytic environments.
- Ensure all required input data is available and processes run successfully.
