Job description
The Engineering Manager for SSD Storage at Google will lead a team of software engineers focused on developing storage solutions for various Google services. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with Linux Kernel, Operating Systems, and Embedded Systems.
- Experience with software development life-cycle (SDLC) and software release management (SRM).
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers to deliver against the Platform Infrastructure and Engines roadmap.
- Gather requirements and collaborate with executive developers on design.
- Manage budget, resources, and tooling planning to deliver against the roadmap.
- Drive all aspects of the development including requirements definition, design, implementation, and testing.
- Orchestrate the evaluation of new storage component technology and supporting tools for Data Center needs.
