The role is part of the Qualcomm Data Center AI Hardware Engineering team, which focuses on designing and developing motherboards and add-in cards for AI System On Chip (SoC) and System In Package (SIP). The team collaborates with various cross-functional teams to execute projects from concept to production, supporting rack-level design and integration. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside industry experts in a fast-paced environment, tackling complex challenges in AI infrastructure. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of cutting-edge hardware solutions while ensuring alignment with customer requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• Proven experience in system/card/rack-level development, including architecture, design, validation, and deployment of enterprise-class hardware platforms.
• Deep knowledge of PCIe cards, motherboards, daughtercards, and backplane signal and power delivery.
• Experience with high-speed serial I/O and compliance with current standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory, environmental, and compliance testing for rack-level systems.

• Lead schematics design, PCB layouts, design reviews, and develop test plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams and ODMs to develop customer-specific hardware and system requirements.
• Support architecture and card designs including accelerator SoCs, memory, I/O, and power delivery.
• Assist in the bring-up and debugging of hardware systems and rack-level configurations.
• Provide technical oversight of factory and manufacturing processes to ensure quality across deployments.
