Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
- Good driving record and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to meet physical demands associated with field work, including lifting heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee drilling operations, including installing monitoring wells and describing soil or rock.
- Conduct soil, groundwater, and air sampling in compliance with State and Federal standards.
- Implement injection or other in-situ based remedial technologies and oversee system installations.
- Manage data compilation, manipulation, and evaluation.
- Assist in writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals while coordinating work schedules with subcontractors.
- Spend 50 to 70% of time in the field performing various tasks.
