Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in network design, development, and automation OR Bachelor's Degree in the same fields AND 2+ years technical experience OR equivalent experience.
- Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
- This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
Responsibilities
- Design proactive solutions to optimize infrastructure, resolve issues, and improve performance using automation.
- Troubleshoot complex live site issues using deep knowledge of network components, tools, and APIs.
- Contribute to incident response across teams, ensuring quality postmortems and analyzing historical data.
- Leverage data to assess impact, identify trends, and drive decisions that enhance network performance.
- Handle Layer 3 technologies, including IPv4, BGP, OSPF, IPv6, and ECMP.
- Collaborate across teams to develop scalable, high-performance network designs.
- Share information effectively across teams, manage dependencies, and seek feedback and mentorship.
