As a Data Engineer at Meta, you will play a crucial role in shaping data solutions for various applications including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Your work will involve collaborating with software engineering, data science, and product management teams to optimize user experience and drive growth for over 3 billion users. • 2+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language such as Python, C++, C#, or Scala.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact.
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices.
• Master's or Ph.D degree in a STEM field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development and staying current with emerging AI technologies.

• Manage and execute data warehouse plans for a product or a group of products to solve well-scoped problems.
• Identify the data needed for a business problem and implement logging required to ensure availability of data.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs.
• Build data expertise and leverage data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operations.
• Design, build, and launch new data models and visualizations in production.
• Independently design, build, and launch new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
• Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions.
• Define and manage Service Level Agreements for data sets in allocated areas of ownership.
