As a Data Scientist at Meta, you will work within the Ranking AI team to advance and deploy state-of-the-art Recommendation Systems AI for the Ads stack. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional partners to solve product development challenges using data and analysis. You will influence product strategy and investment decisions while focusing on delivering measurable impact. The position emphasizes the translation of research into production, ensuring that products provide value to users and businesses.

• A minimum of 6 years of work experience in analytics, with at least 4 years of experience if holding a Ph.D.
• Experience with data querying languages such as SQL, scripting languages like Python, and statistical or mathematical software such as R.

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches.
• Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop strategies for products.
• Identify and measure the success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key product metrics.
• Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve the product, driving roadmaps through insights and recommendations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions.
