The Facilities team is seeking a Staff Facility Electrical Engineer to enhance and maintain high-tech infrastructure in Fremont, California. This role requires candidates to have direct construction experience in operational facilities. The engineer will focus on improving electrical reliability and efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position involves both hands-on technical work and leadership responsibilities.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) with 8–10 years of experience in high-tech facility construction or equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proven QA/QC and commissioning experience for electrical installations.
• Deep knowledge of NEC/NFPA/IEEE and facility safety compliance.
• Proficient in operating, programming, and troubleshooting medium-voltage systems.
• Advanced capability in interpreting electrical schematics and performing load flow studies.
• Skilled with electrical analysis tools and able to conduct engineering economic evaluations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Perform facility-wide electrical evaluations, energy audits, and load studies.
• Lead commissioning, validation, and optimization of electrical infrastructure.
• Operate, program, maintain, and troubleshoot medium-voltage equipment.
• Develop electrical specifications and review design drawings.
• Coordinate field work and planned outages across maintenance and construction.
• Conduct construction site walks and enforce design compliance.
• Improve asset reliability via root-cause analysis and energy-system monitoring.
