Job description

The Partner Engineer role at Meta focuses on integrating strategic partners with Meta's platform APIs, ensuring their success through technical guidance and support. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, partner engineering, or technical solutions engineering
  • Experience with open source languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Objective-C/C++, Swift, Java, Kotlin, or C#
  • Experience integrating with or building on top of web or mobile APIs, SDKs, or data platforms
  • Experience using data and metrics to identify trends and drive decisions
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent partner or customer engagements

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical partner for a portfolio of strategic partners integrating with Meta's platform APIs
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical integration issues across Meta's APIs, SDKs, and data pipelines
  • Analyze partner integration health and product usage metrics to identify opportunities for growth
  • Translate partner business requirements into technical specifications
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation and best-practice resources
  • Lead technical reviews and integration audits for partner launches
  • Build and maintain trusted working relationships with technical counterparts at partner organizations
  • Work with partners to develop a long-term strategic plan grounded on business objectives
  • Represent Meta and our products in partner meetings and industry events
  • Identify systemic gaps in partner tooling or support processes and design scalable solutions
  • Share knowledge and technical insights with peers to elevate the team's capability
  • Leverage AI-integrated workflows to accelerate partner diagnostics and solution development
