This position is for a technical leader in a small team focused on developing next-generation server-side infrastructure for Tesla. The team connects various Tesla products to enhance user experience for over 10 million users. The role involves working with IoT and service engineering challenges while building a platform that supports autonomous transportation. Candidates should have expertise in cloud environments and automation technologies.

• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining SaaS infrastructure through automation.
• Expert skills with Linux, networking, storage, or virtualization automation using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Experience in setting up and supporting CI/CD platforms.
• Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Python, Go, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with data-driven capacity planning in physical data centers or cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Design and write software that enables rapid prototyping by development teams while ensuring high reliability and availability.
• Automate the build and deployment of infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and other orchestration technologies in a hybrid-cloud environment.
• Drive the migration of large-scale, distributed fleet applications towards cloud environments.
• Influence architectural decisions with a focus on security, scalability, and high performance.
• Troubleshoot and manage full-cycle incident response including mitigation, correction, and prevention.
• Advise application teams on Kubernetes native application architecture to improve automation and reliability across vehicle software teams.
