Job description

Meta is looking for a Building Management System (BMS) Quality Manager to join their Data Center Engineering & Construction Quality team. This role focuses on optimizing the delivery of BMS to ensure projects are completed safely, reliably, and on time. The BMS Quality Manager will lead cross-functional teams, oversee installation and commissioning efforts, and drive consistency across projects. The position requires adaptability in a rapidly evolving environment while ensuring adherence to design and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Industrial Automation and Building Management Control Systems, such as PLC/DDC
  • 3+ years of experience in programming and designing HVAC control systems and Electrical Power Monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the General Contractor BMS Lead(s), Control Systems Integrator, and Electrical and Installation controls contractors throughout all project phases.
  • Establish a clear vision and foster collaboration among on-site project teams.
  • Drive consistency and standardization across all buildings and contractors.
  • Review and ensure project level adherence to the BMS PLC Playbook.
  • Perform BMS inspections and validate project status and progress.
  • Assess team performance and support the project benchmark and mock-up process.
  • Work with Construction Managers and General Contractors to maintain accurate schedules for BMS activities.
  • Coordinate and manage packaged equipment factory installed controls audits and BMS commissioning audits.
  • Lead large multi-stakeholder meetings and communicate discussions to key stakeholders.
  • Support custom tooling integration into construction processes and identify risks.
