The Mobile team at Tesla is looking for a motivated engineer to enhance the mobile experience for autonomous transportation through the Tesla and Robotaxi apps. This role involves taking ownership of user-facing features that facilitate interactions with driverless vehicles. The engineer will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless user experiences and contribute to the scalability and reliability of the mobile architecture. The position is focused on delivering high-quality, polished mobile applications for millions of Tesla users.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in iOS Development.
• Proficient in Swift, Objective-C, and React Native.
• Familiar with Typescript or JavaScript, with a preference for experience in React/React Native.
• Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using common design patterns and maintaining high standards for code quality.

• Design, code, debug, and own features from concept to release for the Robotaxi and Tesla mobile apps, primarily on iOS.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Firmware, Vehicle UI, Autopilot, and Backend teams to create seamless interactions.
• Own the full development lifecycle of mobile features including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Contribute to the evolution of the mobile architecture to support future Robotaxi scalability and reliability.
• Continuously improve app performance, usability, and customer satisfaction.
