Job description
The role involves providing applications development support for PWG and Wafersight products within KLA's Global Products Group. The team focuses on metrology and inspection products that enhance semiconductor manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to characterize tool performance and provide technical support to customers. Strong communication skills and the ability to analyze data are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- Candidate must have a Master’s or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related fields.
- The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing.
- Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate must be self-driven, yet a strong team player.
- Programming and scripting skills in MATLAB or Python are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide applications development support to PWG and Wafersight products following standard procedures.
- Develop test cases and characterize new products and/or features.
- Demonstrate metrology relevance to customer yield issues.
- Provide technical support in the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with PWG products and features.
- Prepare detailed product specifications and conduct specific product demonstrations.
- Characterize tool/algorithm performance and provide clear feedback to the Engineering teams for product improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and propose potential solutions for customers.
