The HomeKit team is focused on creating a scalable and secure ecosystem for connected home devices. They are seeking a dedicated engineer to enhance their Home platform and improve user experiences. The role involves working across various layers of the software stack, from protocol design to customer experience. The goal is to craft an exceptional home automation experience that customers will love.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of software development experience
- Strong programming skills in one or more object-oriented languages such as Objective-C, Swift, or C++
- Excellent experience with operating systems concepts that contribute to application performance and scalability
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with a passion for product quality and attention to detail
- Well-founded grasp of computer science fundamentals
- Experience shipping real products to customers
- Experience with Smart Home technology
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
