• 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 8+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
• Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle

• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
• Advocate for industry best practices to produce reliable and fault-tolerant code
• Code and test complex system modules while developing effective frameworks
