Job description
We are seeking experienced software engineers to join our small, agile team focused on building a distributed multi-tiered data orchestration service for critical AI and ML systems. The role emphasizes individual responsibility and influence over core service direction, with a strong commitment to clean, maintainable code. Team members will engage in pair programming and share code ownership, ensuring high-quality software delivery. Candidates should be passionate about both high-level concepts and low-level performance optimization.
Requirements
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable applications and web services.
- Experience working with Rust, including asynchronous programming and sharing models.
- Experience with concurrent programming, including locking and memory synchronization.
- Experience with distributed system concepts such as consensus and replication.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent software development experience.
- Experience with blob storage solutions.
- Experience with distributed key-value databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Experience with Linux system internals.
- Experience with storage systems and internals.
- Experience with back-end web technologies.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the complete life-cycle of features.
- Identify areas of improvement and propose changes.
- Drive the implementation of features and support them in production.
- Collaborate with team members through pair programming.
- Focus on writing readable, maintainable, and performant code.
