Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with planning and designing networks across multiple sites and products.
- Experience developing networking products, technologies, software, and protocols.
- Substantial operational experience with carrier-class routers and switches.
Responsibilities
- Drive innovation and create requirements for new networking product ideas and process improvements.
- Own the analysis of measurements and capacity forecast models to enhance network scalability and efficiency.
- Evaluate current inefficiencies in network systems and propose designs and processes for improvement.
- Lead the entire life-cycle of a network including design, qualification, deployment, operation, and optimization.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to resolve software, hardware, and network problems.
