Job description

The Senior Lease Delivery Program Manager, Datacenter Portfolio Management will play a crucial role in the Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) team at Microsoft, which is responsible for one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures. This position focuses on enhancing the delivery of data centers through effective program management, commercial compliance, and strategic execution governance. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio leaders and various teams to drive innovation and efficiency in data center delivery. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to influence decision-makers across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Demonstrates deep subject matter expertise on key functional areas of engineering, procurement, construction, mechanical, electrical, networking, and building automation systems.
  • Expertise working with large-scale data sets and analytics tools to derive insights and make process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead LDPM program operations for AMERS Lease delivery, establishing priority forums and action tracking.
  • Drive commercial compliance across lease delivery by interpreting contract obligations and performance expectations.
  • Own commercial escalation mechanisms, including escalation logs and closed-loop resolution tracking.
  • Lead strategic execution alignment by connecting commercial strategy, procurement readiness, and delivery milestones.
  • Operate change control governance for design, technology, scope, procurement, and commercial changes.
  • Translate schedule, cost, milestone, risk, compliance, and change signals into clear priorities and decision-ready recommendations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment across delivery, project controls, procurement, contracts, engineering, risk, finance, and lease providers.
  • Drive portfolio-level risk and issue management by ensuring high-impact risks are visible and actively mitigated.
  • Partner with delivery teams for technical inputs and root-cause validation while maintaining LDPM ownership.
  • Continuously improve LDPM governance, escalation playbooks, change control workflows, and reporting fidelity.
