This position is for a System Engineer who will work closely with multi-functional teams to innovate iPhone and iPad products. The role involves engaging with Hardware, Module, and Design & Validation teams at Apple. The engineer will evaluate overall system design and support hardware teams in developing next-generation devices. The position requires hands-on experience and proficiency with lab equipment, as well as coding and scripting skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Hands-on experience in prototype work and functional verification with electronics
• Proficient with lab equipment such as digital multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Prior experience with coding and scripting skills in Python, Perl, Shell, or Unix
• Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred
• Prior working experience with prototype hardware and development boards is helpful

• Evaluate overall system design by crafting and conducting evaluation tests
• Support Hardware teams in crafting the next-generation iPhones and iPads
• Build Failure Analysis reports and optimize test processes
• Make recommendations for coverage improvements
• Develop benchmarking matrix by crafting or modifying automation scripts
• Work towards closing potential test gaps and improve scripts
• Support hardware development activities at manufacturing partner facilities
