We are looking for an experienced engineer and technical leader to join our team focused on the network stack for EC2 distributed AI/ML systems. The team works with various frameworks and communication libraries, emphasizing Linux, networking, and efficient coding. Candidates should have a strong background in high-speed networking or HPC/RDMA interconnects. This role offers the opportunity to lead a diverse team and contribute to foundational technologies within AWS.

• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead in the last 3 years
• 5+ years of experience with programming languages C or C++
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience working with ML Communication Libraries or RDMA Networking

• Lead the team working across the NVIDIA ML communication stack for enabling NVIDIA GPUs to work with AWS EC2 machines.
• Direct work to ensure the team delivers functions and features required for the latest ML workloads.
• Support new team members through knowledge-sharing and mentorship.
• Participate in one-on-one mentoring and conduct thorough code reviews.
