Job description
Apple is seeking a motivated Analog Mixed Signal IP Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves taking ownership of analog IP from external vendors and ensuring it meets Apple's high quality standards. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to integrate IP into mobile devices. Occasional travel may be required as part of the job.
Requirements
- BSEE or MSEE degree is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in analog IC design is necessary.
- Hands-on design expertise in at least 3 areas such as LDO, ADC, DAC, PLL, Serdes, bandgap reference, filter design, or switched capacitor circuit design is essential.
- A solid understanding of transistor device characteristics, particularly in advanced CMOS processes, is required.
- Knowledge of analog IC design flow and tools is necessary.
- Experience with standards like PCI Express, MIPI, USB, or DisplayPort is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities are essential.
