The watchOS System Spaces group is looking for a senior software engineer to contribute to the development of the watchOS experience for Apple Watch. This role involves working on systems that manage notifications and alerts, ensuring reliability while operating within power and memory constraints. Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Solid computer science fundamentals; a specific degree or concentration is not required.
- Experience building or maintaining systems software, including daemons and services.
- Proficiency with Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience diagnosing failures that cross process or device boundaries.
- Experience with low-level software on constrained hardware.
- Familiarity with operating system internals, including process lifecycle and networking.
- Experience improving and expanding on existing complex projects.
