Job description

NVIDIA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a technical team focused on verifying AI compilers for next-generation deep learning workloads. This hands-on role requires expertise in compiler quality and the ability to address complex challenges at the intersection of compilers and machine learning. The manager will define formal verification requirements and drive the use of advanced verification techniques. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to enhance verification infrastructure and improve engineering velocity.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including at least 3 years leading engineering teams or major technical initiatives.
  • Experience with AI compiler or framework technologies such as MLIR, TensorRT, XLA, Triton, PyTorch, or JAX.
  • Fluency with AI workload and ML framework concepts, including computation graphs, tensor operations, and training or inference workflows.
  • Strong people management skills, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a highly technical team responsible for AI compiler verification.
  • Own the verification of next-generation AI workloads, including LLMs and agentic AI systems.
  • Define formal-verification requirements for AI compiler transformations and generated GPU programs.
  • Drive the use of AI-assisted and compiler-aware verification techniques.
  • Partner closely with AI compiler development, CUDA software, ML framework, runtime, product, and AI software teams.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
