This role involves working with interdisciplinary teams to design, implement, and release systems to manufacturing. Requirements
- BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of hardware engineering experience
- Experience in system design, complex analog and digital circuit design, and power electronics
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent is preferred
- Experience with DFx (Design for cost, test, manufacturing)
- Proficient with PSPICE for analog circuit simulation
- Experience applying IEC 60204 and/or IEC 61508 machinery safety standards is preferred
Responsibilities
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production.
- Support a technical team on multiple projects in parallel.
- Coordinate all activities within the engineering discipline for the project.
- Write and develop functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
- Design and implement complex embedded systems and perform systems debugging.
- Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments.
- Establish development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems.
