Arcadis is seeking a Water Engineer Co-Op or Intern to join their Water Business Line in Middletown, CT for Fall 2026. This role focuses on protecting natural environments and water resources while addressing challenges such as climate change and urbanization. The intern will gain hands-on experience in water engineering projects, including water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance. The position offers opportunities for fieldwork, project management, and collaboration with teams across the U.S. and internationally.

• Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related academic discipline.
• At least 16-20 hours of weekly availability during the fall semester (August - December 2026).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Evaluate, plan, design, and support the management of water engineering projects.
• Conduct site visits, perform sampling, and conduct water quality analyses.
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
• Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and quality standards.
• Learn and use digital tools to enhance project delivery and collaboration.
