In this role, you will be part of the SHaPE Healthcare Access, Quality & Outcomes domain, focusing on delivering client impact through data analyses and insights. You will work closely with senior knowledge professionals and consultants to address client problems using advanced analytics and large datasets. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the application of analytical skills within the healthcare sector. You will also contribute to internal knowledge development and capability-building initiatives.
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in business, finance, or economics.
- 2+ years of analytics experience, ideally within healthcare or an adjacent industry.
- Interest and/or experience with healthcare is strongly preferred.
- Strong modelling and analytical Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, focusing on machine learning and advanced analytics such as R, Python, PySpark, and Scala.
- Experience working with large data sets and relational databases.
- Ability to translate business requirements and manage estimated workload according to scope.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues, identify causes, and recommend solutions quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
- Solid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology.
Responsibilities
- Deliver distinctive client impact through assets and data analyses.
- Collect and analyze data from databases such as VRDC.
- Assemble analytical analyses and counsel consultants and clients on business and economic trends.
- Identify key issues for client problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform various analyses such as claims analyses, trend identification, and growth projections.
- Participate in and eventually lead internal knowledge development and capability-building initiatives.
- Use advanced analytics tools to prepare and analyze large datasets to distill insights.
