NVIDIA is seeking a motivated GPU/SOC system software engineer to join their GPU Software team. The role involves working closely with dedicated software and hardware engineers on various technologies. The engineer will focus on crafting and debugging production GPU and SOC kernel drivers and embedded software, emphasizing platform performance, power savings, and robustness. • BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant software development experience
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and initiative in independent coding projects
• Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals
• Strong operating systems fundamentals with kernel experience on Linux or Windows systems

• Design, implement, and debug changes in the NVIDIA software stack for next-gen hardware
• Follow devices through the development process to various customer products
• Be involved in emulation, bringup, and product hardening for groundbreaking products
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams globally
