Job description

As a System Architect at NVIDIA, you will play a crucial role in shaping the infrastructure for the next industrial revolution. The position focuses on driving architecture for datacenter systems and working with various teams to develop cutting-edge products. Your expertise will help guide product teams and ensure alignment with industry roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working in complex product systems.
  • Understanding of how to design high speed multi-layer product boards.
  • Deep understanding of hardware architecture and server build, including mechanical, power, and thermal aspects.
  • Hands-on experience solving challenging problems that span both software and hardware.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive architecture for datacenter systems considering everything from the chip out to the full datacenter.
  • Work with counterparts from silicon, software, networking, operations, and other teams to build cutting edge products.
  • Analyze performance, power, and cost of different solutions to inform architectural decisions.
  • Guide product teams with architectural direction by integrating lessons from other products and developing new solutions.
  • Collaborate with NVIDIA’s key customers and system development partners while developing our products.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure industry roadmaps are aligned to our needs.
  • Work across engineering and operations teams to define and execute systems from concept through large production deployments.
  • Monitor competitive solutions to keep track of industry developments and trends.
