As a Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer at Intel's New Mexico Manufacturing team, you will ensure the quality and reliability of products during high-volume production ramps. This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes and enhancing product reliability to meet customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold quality standards. Your contributions will significantly impact manufacturing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline with 1+ year experience or Master's degree and 0+ years' experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, semiconductor fabrication, and quality assessment methodologies
• Familiarity with excursion management, reliability fundamentals, or problem-solving techniques
• Experience analyzing data using statistical tools and machine learning to inform decision-making

• Qualify manufacturing ramps to high-volume production while ensuring compliance with quality and reliability standards
• Specify inspection mechanisms and testing protocols to maintain product and process integrity
• Conduct quality assessments, audits, and risk evaluations to proactively address discrepancies
• Develop systems for early detection and containment of manufacturing excursions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement programs and foster a quality-focused culture
• Drive supplier audit processes and recommend improvements for supplier performance and product reliability
• Extract insights from structured and unstructured data using statistical techniques and machine learning to optimize production output
• Manage manufacturing-related issues reported by customers, providing engineering solutions to enhance customer experience
