Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in direct people management responsibility.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing software engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in designing and operating mission-critical, highly scalable distributed systems.
- Strong background in security, compliance, and governance practices relevant to enterprise-scale platform services.
- Experience with hiring pipelines, performance management, and building inclusive team culture.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks and generative AI tooling.
- Familiarity with energy, sustainability, or carbon accounting domains.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and architectural direction for the server platform engineering team.
- Lead the team while staying technically credible in the underlying code and architecture.
- Drive hiring, growth, and a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
- Cultivate the team's fluency with AI tooling to accelerate delivery velocity.
- Engage in architecture reviews and technical decisions to earn the trust of senior engineers.
- Influence cross-functional partners and drive alignment across various organizations.
- Translate ambiguous business goals into concrete technical strategy and executable roadmaps.
