The Packaging PD team at Apple is responsible for the design and execution of structural packaging for all Apple products, ensuring an outstanding customer experience while advancing sustainability goals. The team collaborates with various departments, including Industrial Design and Marketing, to create innovative packaging solutions. Requirements
- 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Polymer Science, Fiber Science, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of material science fundamentals
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written presentation skills
- Ability to travel internationally, up to 20%
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and vendors from concept to manufacturing in mass-production
- Experience developing materials with a wide range of performance requirements
- Working knowledge of analytical techniques to characterize materials
- Experience with paper, fiber, inks, coatings, or bio-based materials
- Data-driven approach to solving complex problems
