Job description

Join Apple's wireless silicon development team as a C-Focused Design Verification Engineer. This role is pivotal in the chip design process, collaborating across various engineering disciplines to ensure functional products reach millions of customers efficiently. The focus is on designing and implementing C tests for wireless SoCs verification and power analysis. You will contribute to a world-class engineering team dedicated to energy-efficient design and innovative technologies.

Requirements

  • BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with C/C++/assembly programming and Verilog/SystemVerilog
  • Solid verification skills in problem solving, constrained random testing, and debugging
  • Knowledge of digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture
  • MSEE preferred
  • Understanding of ARM V7 or V8 architecture is a plus
  • Experience in UVM DV
  • Excellent analytical and debug skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with all disciplines in the chip design effort
  • Design and implement C tests for wireless SoCs verification and power analysis
  • Develop complex tests or power vectors in assembly or C according to test plans
  • Set up UVM/System test benches with embedded C tests
  • Port simulation tests to emulation as needed
  • Work independently on verification efforts while being a great teammate
