Job description
The Beats Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated engineer to enhance the user experience of Apple devices within the Apple ecosystem. This role focuses on developing and maintaining frameworks and automation environments for testing purposes. The engineer will investigate use cases and system-level operations while validating functionality and performance. The position requires collaboration across multiple teams to ensure quality and efficiency in test automation.
Requirements
- 5 years of quality testing experience
- Ability to define, design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks
- Proficiency in Python with practical experience in coding for testing purposes
- Hands-on experience in firmware and algorithm validation, preferably related to sensor technologies
- Practical knowledge of validating machine learning models and algorithms
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and software development lifecycle
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of wireless standards such as Bluetooth Classic/LE, WiFi, and Thread
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
