The Industrial Design Engineer (IDE) at Amazon will lead the design and deployment of innovative solutions for material handling systems across various fulfillment centers. The IDE will manage multiple high-visibility programs and drive technical strategies while ensuring effective communication across engineering and operations teams. • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Experience in design, innovation, research and development, or industrial engineering.
• Strong technical background in automated or non-automated material handling equipment.
• Experience using data and metrics to make data-driven decisions.

• Manage multiple large, highly complex programs through the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Define program/project scope and technical/business requirements for engineering teams.
• Evaluate solutions and make decisions balancing business value and technology risk.
• Build strong working relationships with Fulfillment Center leadership and operations teams.
• Communicate and present program status to Directors of Engineering and Operations.
