The Expert Senior Associate Consultant in the Technology Insights Group at Bain & Company will work closely with private equity teams and global tech leadership to assess technology's impact on businesses. This role involves leading technology due diligence and value creation efforts for software companies, leveraging a strong background in technology and consulting. The team consists of experienced technologists and former executives, focusing on delivering high-impact results in a supportive environment. Candidates will gain exposure to senior executives and enhance their analytical and commercial skills.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a software or technology-related position or industry.
- Technical due diligence experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to rapidly absorb and interpret technical information.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven mindset.
- Undergraduate degree from a top tier university in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology due diligence and value creation workstreams for private equity investors.
- Contribute across the entire client engagement from project scope to final report presentation.
- Drive primary and secondary research efforts, collecting and analyzing data from various sources.
- Conduct hypothesis-led problem solving and communicate complex ideas strategically.
- Develop and communicate recommendations and insights to project teams and clients.
- Invest in special initiatives that help scale the practice.
